With a 15‑year operating track record and more than 300 units owned and managed across Northern New Jersey, he has built SKG into a vertically integrated multifamily investment platform focused on disciplined underwriting, operational excellence, and long‑term value creation.
Since founding SKG in 2011, Sanjay has led 12 acquisitions and six realized exits, generating average project‑level IRRs of approximately 36% and equity multiples of 3.5x. His approach emphasizes downside protection, conservative leverage, and hands‑on operations supported by institutional‑grade reporting, data‑driven decision‑making, and rigorous risk management.
Before launching SKG Capital, Sanjay spent more than 25 years in senior management and technology leadership roles at global investment banks including J.P. Morgan, Barclays, and Lehman Brothers. He developed analytics, risk‑surveillance, and operational frameworks that directly inform SKG’s underwriting, asset management, and portfolio‑monitoring practices today.
Sanjay holds an M.S. from the New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT) and pursued computer science studies at NYU’s Polytechnic (now NYU Tandon School of Engineering).
